What can we record?
Although we find that the most popular choices for corporate team build events are to record a version of a pop song (with a twist!), you can actually record whatever you like including a company anthem, advertisement / jingle, or radio play! If you have another idea, it’s not a problem as we can easily tailor our events to suit your specific requirements.
What songs can we record?
Absolutely anything you like, provided that we are able to obtain the backing track for you. We do have a comprehensive catalogue of songs that you can choose from, or you may decide on something else - the choice is entirely yours.
I can’t sing
In actual fact, most people can hold a tune, and our experienced studio engineer is guaranteed to get the very best out of everyone’s performance. Most of our catalogue of recommended songs are suitable for groups with a wide range of vocal abilities, and working as a team you will surprise yourself with your combined achievement.
Do you have good quality backing tracks?
April Media Productions use only the very best backing tracks that sound identical, or very close to the original. The quality is superb, which will guarantee that you get the highest quality recording possible. We currently have over 5000 backing tracks to choose from, and if we haven't got what you want, we should be able to get it for you.
If we record a jingle, can it really be used on the radio?
Provided that the content is approved by the broadcasting regulators there is no reason why your own staff can’t become the stars of your company! The audio quality of your finished product will be superb and we will optimise it for radio broadcast. You should contact your local radio station advertising department for any specific terms and conditions of broadcasting and they will be able to advise you of their advertising costs.
Can we sell copies of our final product
Yes you can, however if you want to sell your recording of someone else’s song, you will
need to seek permission from the song writer/publisher and pay a small royalties fee to
the MCPS. In most cases this is not a problem and we can arrange this for you. |

 April Media Productions can now offer you the chance to find out with a unique corporate team building event in a real recording studio!
We will put YOUR staff through their paces as we set them the challenge of recording their very own performance of either a pop song, a company anthem, advertisement/jingle or even a short radio play!
Whatever they choose, the decision will be entirely theirs, and so will many other choices that will need to be made throughout the day.
Your staff will be faced with many challenges, and will need to work effectively as a team whilst under pressure to record and produce a CD from beginning to end in just a single day!

Whether it's Pop, Rock, Jazz or show music you want to sing, you can choose from our comprehensive catalogue of over 5000 high quality backing tracks.
We have everything from from Abba to ZZ Top for you to choose from. There's something for everyone and you get to choose on the big day as a team, so worry not! It's all part of the fun.

PRICES
We can accommodate up to 10 participants in each of our sound recording team build sessions, and for larger organisations requiring more, we can provide multiple sessions so you can hold an inter-office competition!
(Discounts are available for multiple bookings - Please ask).
Price includes buffet lunch, light refreshments, use of all facilities, official high quality backing tracks / scripts, and a copy of the finished product for each person.
Workshops last between 6-8 hours which includes an allocated 30 minute lunch break.
Studio time required in excess of the allocated 8 hours will be charged at fixed hourly rate
Additional copies of the finished product will be available at a competitive rate, and we are happy to quote for, and provide any additional mastering artwork/duplication requirements at our standard studio rate.
